Visual Arts Minor

The Visual Arts Minor will teach students to engage in the creative process through many aspects of the visual arts, including studio art, design, art history, and visual communication. Students will learn how varying art forms relate to one another and how they can connect art to other subject areas, including Film, Digital Media, Marketing, History, and English.

This Minor can be chosen as a minor concentration area in the Integrative Studies Major. As part of the Integrative Studies Major, students will be encouraged to apply their artistic ambitions to graduate programs and creative careers that breach the boundaries of traditional disciplines, including digital design, UX design, photojournalism, museum curation, non-profit administration, and more.
